Although Walker actually has to GO to work to Work we have been saving fun things to do with him when he gets home. This particular evening we hit the trails then picked up some PIZZA! It was such a fun night of outdoor trails and yummy pizza to fill our bellies. Times are still uncertain but we know several things to still be true. God is GOOD and he loves us and we love one another!
Along with the other many things that have been canceled or postponed the kid's music recitals were missed. SO.. we had a home recital. The kids did great showing us what they have learned this semester and they both shock me with their musical abilities. Emerson can now hear a note on anything whether it be a bell on a bike or a note on a violin and she will say that was an A or an F sharp! It's really wild!
This girl, her heart...it is amazing how much God uses this girl to humble and encourage me and so many others. One Sunday during our virtual church worship she took WAlker's phone and began messaging people who she could see were worshiping with us that she loved them and missed them. It blessed so many and it sure encouraged me to do better about being encouraging to others. So many reached out to me and told me her messages not only encouraged the ones who received them but also the others who were reading her messages. Sweet precious girl, never change. LOVE BIG!
And then there is here outfits....I'll just let you decided?!!?
The girls and I made a target run and all stayed 6 feet apart...PROMISE!!!
I was called from one of my places of work and put in quarantine for being exposed to a COVID positive patient. I was sad, embarrassed, shocked, scared, really all the things. IT was one of the longest weeks of my life. There are so many others hurting much more than what I endured but it sure was a lot for me and my tribe. This is how this girl felt about not being near mommy..
This is how Davis felt, he was getting to see me no matter what!
This was my quarantine room...
We worked lots of puzzles...
Worshiping got a little weird...Mommy in mask and everyone wearing hat accessories.
And so much more OUTDOOR time...
Thankful for such sweet friends who bring us special treats to keep us outside even longer so we can be together!
The family eating...without ME! We sat at separate tables...
I finally gave up and joined them...so I could beat them at monopoly! HA!
We tried to make unicorn hair with tissue paper..BUT it was a Pinterest FAIL! Good thing I had a sweet missy who said "mommy it's ok you didn't know it wouldn't work. "
This sweet girl decided to decorate our faces with stickers.

The kid's kiwi boxes came in and it felt like Christmas. Really any mail is fun but especially these fun crafts!
We've been trying all sorts of fun activities and Emerson sure enjoyed this one. She painted all the nails whatever colors she desired.
then, of course, we had to do hers! HA!
I showed Emmy how Luara and I used to wear our shirts when we were little and it was hot. HA!
This girl has clung to me since I took myself out of quarantine...glad we both love to read. This is how we spend our days when it rains.
When she can't be close to me she holds tight to her baby.
More fun with the bubbles and the outdoors....
Davis created this monster with brain flakes. He loved it and made it a game for the kids at church. He let them name him, he picked horned yeti.
We hit the trials AGAIN. They never get tired of going!

When I finally was able to leave the house Emmy and I went to get the boys icecream. It was such a treat to get out and get some icecream.
The next day we had a grocery pick up, it's amazing how the little things seem like so much fun when you haven't been anywhere in a week.
Emerson created a landmark, The golden gate bridge out of Twizzlers.
Mrs. Holley made herself like a Flat Stanley so she could hang out with Emmy on all the fun things she does.
We are loving our free to us trampoline. Walker was not keen on the idea but I'm pretty sure he loves it now!
IT's her birthday EVE and I can't believe she is 8 (tomorrow)!!!
I caught this sweet boy reading his Bible while waiting for worship to start, melted my heart!
This sweet girl made the most of her birthday gift and it's box! HA!
Making memories, loving on others, and getting closer to our GOD!
