Both kids have had corona birthdays (I still need to blog D's) and have dealt with the uncertainty of it all pretty well. Emerson loves a good party to see all her friends at once but she knew that could not happen this year. She asked for a trail leading her to the kitchen...so...we blew up balloons till we were blue and lead her to the kitchen! HA! She was so excited about all the balloons and we celebrate with powdered donuts for breakfast.
She loved watching her movie Mrs. Allison made for her of all of her friends and family telling her happy birthday!
Some of her friends and family wanted to give her a birthday parade and we wanted to keep it a surprise so we asked her to hang this balloon on the mailbox so everyone would know it was her birthday. She wasn't really sure why a balloon on the mailbox was needed but it worked and she was so excited. I hated I didn't get more pictures of all of her friends/family but it was so nice seeing everyone I forgot!
We spent the day playing outside on the trampoline and got cleaned up for our first restaurant experience in two months! We ate outdoors at Coyote Blues and it felt like such a treat!
We headed home and got ready for the outdoor movie with our family!
Emerson's party looked a lot different than it usually does but she was so happy to be celebrated all day! I think this is a birthday she will remember and talk about for a long time!
