Skyline held their church outside the walls on Sunday and we loved every minute of the TSVH. The kids sang, prayed and led worship for them, we handed out snacks and then went on private visits with each resident. We did everything from pray with the veteran to sing for them. It was truly a blessing to all involved. SO glad our church thinks outside the box to do church outside the walls!
At the tsvh I explained to our group that this sweet veteran could no longer hear and we had to communicate via white board. After telling her we were there to love on her and bring her Jesus she began to weep. Emerson asked for the board immediately wrote this message and hugged her. My heart has never been so proud of her, amazed at her braveness and humbled at how she loves. #cotw2019
Another ❤️ moment.....I’m pretty sure this sweet soul thought Emerson was her daughter/niece/grandchild/etc so Emerson went with it and embraced her like she’d known her a lifetime. ❤️ melted #cotw2019
Davis' teacher Miss Anna is getting married so we surprised her with a shower this week!
Emerson helped raise 28,000 for St. Judes so she got to eat lunch with Mr. Carey and spend the day outside with coach A. I was able to tag along and help out. So proud of our kids for raising money!
We went to the strawberry festival today and enjoyed some funnel cake, parade watching, and good company. I can't believe how cold it was this year compared to last year when we all got sun burnt!
We are getting closer and closer to summer and we cannot wait!!! I sure love being able to be home with my babies to make memories and have summer fun!
