April has brought many memories for us. The first was a very quick trip to Henderson to send off my cousin, his wife and kids as they will be moving to North Carolina. Look at all these babies. We are missing 4, but these are my cousins kids!
Walker is a pretty valued name in our family, meet the two Walkers!
We sure love watermelons around here. They are crazy expensive right now, but this momma doesn't care we love them way too much. We ate this entire watermelon within 24 hours!!
We got a spare night to date each of our kids. Davis chose sky zone, a local trampoline park and mexican food and ended with a coke icee and breakfast for the am. Emerson and her daddy went to Perkins, her favorite, the ball store (hibbett's) and then came home and snuggled and watched a movie. I love love moments like these!
Emerson has really taken to her violin and with the nice weather decided to give us an outdoor concert! What a treat!
Davis made the 5th grade basketball team and we spent an entire Saturday watching him play several games in Gasden.
Of course Emmy somehow got the coach's board and drew up a play for the boys! HA!
Every Monday since the beginning of school my backseat has looked like this, I love it!
Emerson gave her daddy his first performance on her violin.
We have enjoyed the warmer weather...
We attended the kids first crawfish boil. Emerson said how do you eat something that smells so bad. Needless to say neither of the kids tried it, happy to say they ate a hotdog instead. There was a band performing and walking up to the venue said oh no, my legs cannot stop dancing even though my body is telling them to be still! HA! Happy to report she danced herself silly.
