Emerson celebrated a little early at school on May 1 with all of her classmates.
She woke up on May 2 ready for a couple of gifts and a trip to the zoo, for her brother's field trip. I must say she has a pretty amazing brother to ask if she could come since it was her birthday. We had the best day. We took in the zoo and then headed to one of our favorite places for lunch and then tried out Shelby farms.

Yes, she cried on her special day!! Her birthday candles would not cooperate and her daddy blew them out so they wouldn't burn the house down...cue the drama!!
I read her each and every facebook message and text she received, she giggled the entire time!!
We tried a birthday party at the skating place and I will say it was a hit. Emerson was surrounded by many friends and family and had the best night!
After the party, our family enjoyed some Mexican food and we got to see Emmy get celebrated by all the workers!
