Corona break/summer break

We've stopped counting corona days and began our summer around here. To us, life is back to normal or mostly normal. Not everyone is like us and not all cities are opened back up but as for me and my house we are "not scared anymore." I've been tested, quarantined and we are just over it. Over talking about it, over wearing masks, over it. So, here I am making an attempt to catch up! HA! I love hanging out with these two. They make life more fun and they keep me humble and honest. I am amazed at their love for each other and pray they remain close friends forever.

Walker took the kids to youth one night in the church parking lot so I could do my bible study and I got this sweet picture from, Addison, Emmy sure missed holding babies!

Mothers day we spent celebrating Mia and Meme. We had brunch at Laura's for Mia and supper at Lane's house for Meme. It was a great day celebrating the matriarchs of our family.

We celebrated Davis moving up the hill with a parade around the school with his friends and teachers.

Two of the cutest and sweetest encouragers along the way for the kindergarteners!

Daddy got a new toy for Christmas and the kids are finally getting brave enough to try it! Sister went first and brother fell in line shortly thereafter.

COVID has kept us away from our friends but thankfully we do lots of driveway visits. This precious family may have moved to Memphis but they are still some of our favorites.

Walker was not a trampoline fan, but it sure has entertained these two for HOURS! It provides a great workout for all of us and we are truly enjoying our free toy!

Some traditional end of the school year pictures for a not so traditional school year. We have loved our first year at JC and love being a part of the JCFAMILY! Praying for a "normal" 2020-2021" year!

I can't say enough how much we love our children's minister. She sent the kids flat Jesus' so they could take him around with them throughout their day. What a great reminder!
When your sweet friend says meet me at the park, I've rented a lens and can get some pictures of your kiddos...They turned out amazing and I love having talented friends who share their talent with others!

We celebrated the end of the school year (FINALLY) with JCS cookies! The kids sure enjoyed decorating and eating them!!

We sure love our friends! Making memories in the Gatlins backyard is one of our special treats!!

Emerson styling with my new black bag on her head! HA!

We decided to try the farmers market out for the first time on my birthday. The donuts did not disappoint! We will make this a tradition more than just on my birthday.  We also grabbed a yummy watermelon and it was simply the best one we've had!

My birthday lunch at mom and dads ended in a game of kickball. Look and see if you can tell who won by the pictures. We sure had fun and it felt good winning on my birthday! HA!

When Kristen and I share the same birthday it is an excuse to get out of Jackson and meet with up with Cassie for dinner.

Church on the patio with our small group isn't like worshipping with skyline but it is a VERY close second. We sure love our small group and all the memories we get to share.

These cousins sure had a blast camping with MEME and PAWPAW. So glad they get to make memories together and grateful for grandparents who love our kiddos BIG!

Days spent on the trampoline with you always make my legs sore and my days brighter!

Going out with the dance moms is one of my favorite things! We celebrated Tera and my birthday. Yummy food and such great company!

Last year Walker and I spent our anniversary on the beaches in Hawaii, this year....the golf course with the kids! HA! With corona and all the uncertainty in our world, Walker and I decided a low key day with the family was the BEST option. The kids thoroughly enjoyed our day with us and we made the most memories enjoying one another on the course.

Davis and Pops spent a night at the farm and I love hearing the stories from this time together. Davis craves moments with his people and I was so happy Pops made this happen!

These two love it when we have a day or moment with the Stricklands. I love how well they play together and how they just pick up where we left off each time we see them!

Corona break has caused Davis to eat all sorts of new things. He now eats salad and peppers!

Davis FINALLY got a hair cut! What a stud!!!

Emerson has been a reader since she could hold a book, this by far has been one of the craziest places she has ever read.

This girl loves the pool and is so styish while swimming! HA!

We got Meme a faceless portrait for Moms day and we decided we needed an updated picture with Porter so here was our attempt. I cannot wait to see how it turns out!
I just happened to capture this little jewel, they love her a little!
