LBL overnight 5th grade field trip with Davis

I wasn't sure what to think about an overnight field trip with a bunch of 5th graders, but besides the weather being cold and rainy we had a great time. We missed out on a couple of adventures because of the weather but we were still able to build a structure in the woods and find our way out of the woods with a compass. These boys loved all the outdoors time and saw the weather and activities as such an ADVENTURE. 

I will cherish this memory despite the freezing cold temperatures!! Thankful for a little man who loves holding my hand while exploring the outdoors, inviting me into his relationships with others and  teaching me how to get out of the woods with a compass!
