Whew! What a summer! Such a busy time, but we are making some MAJOR memories so that's what matters, right? One of my favorites has been watching my brother and sister in law become parents!! Lincoln was born and we cannot be more smitten! I cannot wait to love on her and personally watch my brother with his baby girl. I remember the day 11 years ago when I told my brother I was pregnant with Davis and as excited as he was for us, he told me there is no way I am ready for a baby. Well, the time has come and he seriously is the BEST daddy. Watching her grow, as they parent her, is so much fun.
This girl is always reading!!!
We love play dates with our buddies!
Trips to the park, do not disappoint!
Eye doctor appointments bring loads of fun for Emerson!!!
When your girls know you need to get away and they still you away for a night on the town in Nashville. I really didn't need to leave all the packing, but my hubby insisted it was the best thing! Proud to call him mine and proud to have friends that steal me away!
Mia took the kids bowling as an escape to all the packing/cleaning/moving..she seriously thinks of it all. Not sure how our family would make it without her. She is resident nurse, cook, mover, cleaner and she NEVER complains.
Story hour at Milan Public Library never disappoints. We sure love how the community pours into the kids!
Dance camp did not disappoint. She sure loves to dance and we sure enjoy watching her!
The Milan Ritz, no movie theater like it. We love our hometown treasure! Went to see Toy Story 4 and Jessie showed up.
Watermelon and the pool. Not sure there is a better combination!
Goat therapy. Hmm, not sure I have adequate words to describe our experience. We laughed a lot and spent some valuable time together, the rest just gets confusing!! HA!
Emerson finally lost her first tooth. Her friends have lost multiple teeth but we are just proud she has at least lost one! It was a long process, but she pulled her first tooth. Multiple people attempted but Emerson was the only successful one!
I spent some time working at the VA and the kids joined me and decided to entertain the residents. Emerson played the violin and Davis played the piano. They enjoyed putting smiles on so many faces and I enjoyed watching them use their talents to make others smile.
Happy Fathers Day to our one and only! He loves us BIG, lives to serve his God and his family and makes life so much more fun! Proud to call him ours and we feel very blessed to be loved by him.
