We went to Perdido Key last month with a party of 26 and we made lots of memories. The kids had LOTS of playmates and we were able to do some things we had never done before. The kids and I rushed out practically after arriving at the condo. We all needed some fresh air and what better place to take a deep breath!
The rest of the gang started trickling out and even Glennlee tried the water out..in her clothes and bow!!
Cousins make the best playmates and friends! I think Emmy needed a little Rob time. HA! HE is such a good sport!
We hit the beach with the entire party, complete with EVERY beach toy, tent, and towel! HA!
The waves were rough, like so rough I had never seen before. It was so weird to see people just stand on the beach and not get in the water. It was a red flag so we should have not been surprised but I'm not sure any of us have ever seen such fierce waves.

We ate out every night and NEVER waited!! When your party is 26 you leave very early to go to dinner.
Photo shoots after dinner...
Emerson is a reader, just like her brother. This night, in particular, she wanted to read daddy's magazine..side hustlin'!
Another day of sun meant another day at the beach. The kids played so well together and kept each other pretty entertained.
Did I say I have two children who love to read..she read so much this day she fell right asleep, in her glasses.
The waves calmed down and we all started to feel brave and enter the water. Emmy was a HUGE fan this year and wore her float out. She floated and told stories to the others.
Davis got to go deep sea fishing with his daddy and other folks and MOST of the time he enjoyed fishing and catching the most fish.
This particular 30 minutes was his least favorite. Poor guy! Unfortunately, several of the guys experienced moments like this...
Back at it, the only good thing about being an avid puker is he is resilient and gets over it quickly and it is usually followed by a smile.
D and E wanted a snow cone one night, we had ice cream most nights and I'm pretty sure it was because they wanted to play on this chair.
Another day, same beach, more memories to make.
The parents got a night out and we sure did have fun laughing and being entertained by Josh! Always a fun time with this crew.
OF course, we had to enjoy some dessert before heading back to the kids!!!
We have NEVER gone crab hunting and this year we decided to try it out. The kids had so much fun running after the crabs and attempting to catch as many as they could. We ended up with buckets full. The kids were amused and it turned out to be a pretty fun adventure.
BEACH TIME!!!
Braids on the beach for the girls! Thank goodness two of the three are not tender headed!!
Little missy wore herself plum out, right in Meme's lap.
Another yummy night at an outdoor restaurant.
My two studs, all matchy matchy in their vineyard vines score from Hawaii. One of them is really working this photo shoot! HA!
Thumbs up for pictures on the beach, seriously my favorite thing EVER!!
Photos by J&S Photography...always helps to travel with a photographer. Great shots of my people, thankful for talented friends.
