Emerson' field trip

Emerson's first grade class went on their class field trip to Donnell Century Farm last week and the weather was perfect and it was a great venue to enjoy with her friends. 

They started the trip with a experience at the farmers market. 

We found this really huge swing and had to take advantage of it! 

They were able to pet some animals and even feed them! 

They got to eat jellybeans for the letter j and jump on the big trampoline! 

We rode on a tractor and did a story walk. 

Played in the corn..

and slide down this seriously fun and fast slide. I even enjoyed this!! 

Emerson also enjoyed the zip line. 

Emerson loves very BIG and was thrilled to see all of her friends throughout the day. 

I am so happy I get to enjoy these moments with Emerson and Davis. Walker and I have made hard not always fan favorite choices so  that one of us is always able to share memories with them and I count it one of my biggest blessings! 

Dance Picture night

 Tonight was the infamous picture night at dance. It took nearly 3 hours and countless curls, lipstick and wardrobe changes but we made it! Emerson loved every minute of getting dolled up with her girlfriends. The dance moms and myself made it but not sure we were too in love with it! HA! I sure love watching these girls and their friendships grow! This costume is Emerson's favorite. It is fancy Nancy and she will perform her ballet piece in it!

This is her acros class and Emerson calls this her noodle outfit! HA! Not really sure what the real term is but she loves how it moves and shakes! 

 This is Emerson's tap outfit and she is most excited about the fancy gloves she gets to wear with it and of course the tap shoes!!

I cannot wait to see the girls in full costume and dancing on the stage in June. I know my tiny dancer loves to perform and can't wait to show us her moves!
