We love giving our kids memories over gifts and Emerson got her first trip instead of gift this year. We took her and the rest of us to Branson Mo. We stayed at the Grand Country Inn, which has a water park in it and let's just say it did not disappoint. The kids LOVED the water, indoor and out and enjoyed shopping, eating and running from activity to activity. It was a great get a way, I just wished it was a little closer!!
The kids did great in the car, well besides D's minor car sickness in a cheese it box!! But once we arrived they were ready to check the place out.
D is so brave and literally tried everything there was to do, Emerson was a little bit more timid and stuck to the safe but sure things! HA!
Tuesday morning we headed to a The amazing pets show. The kids LOVED it and really wanted to take one of the dogs, cats or birds home with us!
They were both very brave and volunteered to go talk to Apple Jacks.

Of course as soon as it was over, and after a little shopping and food we enjoyed the water park a bit more!
That night we ate at Pischetti's. It was such a festive place that offered great food but an even better atmosphere!
We even rode a ferris wheel in the restaurant!
We walked the strip to shop and buy some rock candy, what else??
We also enjoyed some black light golf...FUN!
While we were sad to head home, it was fun to stop at the Bass Pro...
A river that was absolutely gorgeous..
and of course LAMBERTS!!!
Emmy got festive in the car and decorated her legs, watched lots of i-pad and listened to a million books on cd.
When we got back home the kids begged to not leave the house, except they found out this monkey was going to be at story hour and they HAD to leave for that!
Such a FUN trip with my sweet family! Glad to share moments like this one instead of a toy that would get broken or forgotten! Thankful for days like this!
