SURPRISE!! ST. Luci

We made it to Saturday morning..2:30 in the am to be exact and headed to the airport. Keep in mind Walker still has no idea where we are going.

 I begin to get our boarding passes and it hits him where our destination is...can't you see the excitement? Masks really kill the excited face here! HA 

He then turns his head to see our friends walking in the airport..his next surprise, we have besties traveling with us!! 

The plane ride was rather uneventful but full of lots of cat naps, snacks and masks!! 

I look up in the seat in front of me and get an Emmy wink, Her initials are EOW. It made me miss my girl, for sure! (and her brother!!! )

We made it!! A lot tired, hungry and feeling woozy from the lack of sleep food, but we were ready to explore our home for the next 5 days. 

We smushed in the jimmy we rented for the trip! It was quite the adventure!! 

Our resort greeted us with a rum punch and our room key! Isn't it cute? 

The views were breathtaking!!! 

One day we took a land and sea cruise and got to see many of the views of St. Lucia. 

One of the stops was a botanical garden. We felt a little like we were in the garden of eden! SO pretty! 

WE also got to see several views of the Piton mountains!!

We saw a volcano that smelled terribly of sulfur, this was the only time we were thankful for masks. 

Walker felt a spring used for mineral baths years ago. 

On the "land" part of our tour. Not sure Josh thinks the driver is as good as he is! HA! 

Nights and sunsets were one of my favorite things!!! 

IT was 162 stairs to the beach from the lobby/restaurant. Our resort was built into a cliff and so hilly!

The resort had kayaks, snorkel gear and other water toys to use at our discretion!!

Our time in St. Lucia was magical and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I cannot wait till our next adventure!
