For third year in a row I packed up myself and my babies and we headed south with some other mommas and their babies. We made lots of memories this year including beach days that included double red flags, monstrous waves, and man of war bites, but most of all kids smiling and laughing with their friends, momma's chatting and watching their babies run and not worry about the virus." Not every moment was perfect, there were 16 of us for goodness sake, but we made the best of our situation and had a great time. My kids are still talking about our adventures that week and can't wait till our next one.
Two sweet girls who loved being bedmates for the beach trip!
Getting beach ready wasn't always the quickest thing with so many kiddos, but these girls sure loved the journey!
BEACH PHOTOS: There may have been a double red flag but we soaked up the sun and took many pictures!
Sleeps on the beach are the best sleeps.
Sunset photos were taken by Kristen. We are so thankful to have a friend who loves us and loves taking pictures. We loved our mini photoshoot on the beach and I am obsessed about our shots!
Eating out with a party of 16 was not easy, but things that are hard are so much more fun! HA! WE had to stay positive!!!
We had to go buy all the JUNK! HA! What's a beach trip without it?
Late-night swims after crab hunting did not disappoint!
Late-night crab hunting is always a fun adventure.
BEACH reading. This girl is ALWAYS reading. Oh, how I love her!
I pray my kids remember the fun times we shared. That they remembered we took chances and made memories despite weather forecasts, despite what others think/say about 5 mommas traveling with their kiddos. I cherish the memories we made and can't wait till our adventure on this journey of life!
