Nashville Getaway

There is just something about getting away. We took advantage of the heading to Nashville as we haven't had one free weekend in almost 3 months due to football. We were excited to explore Nashville, eat some yummy food and the kids couldn't wait to stay in a hotel. 

We caught a show Friday at the grand ole opry. The kids were amazed at all the talent and Walker and I stayed pretty amazed as well. 

We may have seen Santa several time while we were at the mall..I think our count was 3 times!!! 

We were excited to watch the Grinch too. Such a cute movie, daddy only fell asleep a couple times! HA! 

Emerson loved the Polly pocket exhibit. She visited it a couple times as well. 

This is one of my favs!!! She was telling him some pretty important stuff! 

Opryland hotel was BEAUTIFUL and we loved exploring all the many Christmas decorations. 

We ate lots of great food and the Pharmacy was amazing!!! 

Youth retreat and Miss Callie gets married!!

We love taking our family on the fall youth retreat and this year was no exception. Except for having to leave SUPER early. Davis had a piano recital and Emerson's teacher got married so we left for great reasons but it was sad to miss out on all the fun. The girls enjoyed one another until we had to leave. 

Mr. Ray even got a couple hugs too! 

The girls and I got a couple of adult moments and we even made some super cute earrings! 

I even caught Davis for a couple of pictures! 

Emmy loves babies and this little one was no exception. She loved holding and talking to her as she slept! 

After we got cleaned up we headed to the BIG wedding with friends. 

The girls were so excited to see Miss Callie in her wedding dress.

It was so precious to see Callie with all of her past and present students. I'm so appreciative she included them on her special day!
