WOW! What a weekend we had with this mighty bunch! We ventured to NaCoMe, in Pleasantville Tn to retreat and share a weekend with our youth. Walker recently was asked if he and I would enjoy working with our youth and he prayed about it and felt called to help out. I on the other hand was very apprehensive and unsure about all of it. Did I have the time? The energy? Was I worthy? I could go on and on with excuses, ideas that went around in my head. Instead I jumped on board with Walker and I am pretty sure all those concerns were washed away. I am confident I am better because of this group of people.
The youth played lots of games this weekend, one of which was rock, paper, scissors...Can you see what these two are playing?

His sweatshirt may be HUGE, but he feels even bigger after a weekend with the youth. All the games, love, devotions made his heart grow two times his size!

A sweet sincere moment between our youth minister and Davis. Loved hearing the words, "Davis, you have a place at HIS table." May his heart always believe this.
I'll never forget this weekend for so many reasons. The games, and the fun times were amazing, but the prayer time with my girls, conversations on the porch, Saturday's words from the Lord, lesson from Lauren, and talks from D will always be my FAVORITE!
