Walker had a conference in Nashville last weekend so I tagged along for some retail therapy and hang out time and the kiddos stayed with our parents. My sweet momma sent me these two doing what cousins do...
I was thrilled to see them having a good time and also thrilled my love was getting to eat his favorite dessert (minus the strawberries, they were all mine!)...
I even got pictures of my sweet man playing his last game...
We got home just in time for snuggles and cinnamon beards...
AND SICKNESS!!! My sweet little guy woke me up Sunday morning with a very high fever!!!!
I got the fever down with some good medicines and oils and asked him to do things where he had to sit still or lay down. I found him in his room writing. Later I found the papers, be still my heart. This boy is more precious than words and truly a gift from God.
It wasn't long before I found him like this again! SO SAD!!! I saw some pretty high numbers on our thermometer and it brought this momma to tears to see him so sick! WE ended up at the doctor and with a diagnosis of flu type a!
Little miss tried to stay away and do her "school work" as she calls it....
Davis got some pretty awesome sit still presents from Meme and Pawpaw...1000 piece Rupp Arena puzzle and ....
LEGO set...These were suppose to help him set still! HE was thrilled to have something NEW and surprisingly they worked!!
Our doctor selfies....it took awhile for the flu confirmation...
THEN...this little miss decided to start showing the same symptoms!!! FLU case number 2!!!
Luckily we have some pretty awesome friends and family who sent sweet gifts and goodies to make our lock down not so terrible! This truly humbled me. When others cause my kiddos to smile my heart leaps. Thanks to all of you who have reached out to us, it has been truly appreciated!
Fevers came down from the scary 104-103 range and we had an egg hunt and decorated for EASTER!!!
It has been one VERY long and hard week but I am thankful. Thankful because I have been well and been able to care for all my sick babies including my hubby, thankful to my hubby for working so hard so I can stay at home when issues like this come up I am able to love on my kids and not have to worry about missing a job. Despite all life has thrown at our family these last few months I am choosing JOY. WE are also celebrating because after 5.5 long months my dad will finally be moving to town!!!
