Mia finally is starting to feel better, so after two weeks we finally got to see her face in person.

I bought a skating groupon on a whim the other day to give us something to do as a family. The kids and the parents loved it. It was a day of skating, pizza, tokens and laughter.

Oh my heart. I will miss this girl with my whole being. She is my Haiti travel partner, a friend who I can share the ugly of my life with without any judgment, the one whom has seen me at my worst and still sees me at my best, she knows when to push and when to hug and hold, we've done more embarrassing things for one another than I'd ever share or admit, she's in the "dyersburg wanna be" club with me, and she leads me closer to my maker. We might not talk/text every day but without any doubt we both know we are on one another's side. Oh my sweet friend life in Jackson won't quite be the same without you, but my sweet friend you will do MIGHTY things for HIM and HIS KINGDOM at seamark. The Lord has called and you are listening and being obedient, what would the world look like with more of you? I hate seeing you leave but I have never been more proud to call you my friend and sister.
