Summer ends, school begins...

Our sweet sweet summertime is coming to an end and it is bittersweet. I love spending all the extra time with the kids, but I sure love watching how much they learn and grow in a new school year. Here my big girl is showing off her new mouth! Two teeth lost and counting!

She can hardly eat an apple now!

Little miss got my phone and I want to remember her silliness forever!!

New school year means...

a new do! Looking great!!!

What happens at Mia's stays at Mia's. Eating watermelon straight out of the source!

All the renovations have driven this one crazy! I feel ya sweet boy~!

A night out with our church family at the ballfield!

Meeting Mrs. Holley and instantly falling in love with her sweet sweet spirit!

Getting ready for her 3rd year of dance! She is growing and learning so much, I know this will be a BIG year!

First days get me all emotional, especially at a new school, but these two rocked it!

Celebrating our first day with a pencil cookie decorated by these two sweeties!

I love getting pics of my babies while they are at school. Sweet teachers know how to melt a momma's heart!

Emerson gave Mrs. Holley this board and she was so proud to get her pic with it all decorated!

Football means lots of time with my girl, tonight it was all things Emerson including this fun game of suspend!

Next, she wanted to roll my hair after I rolled hers!!

First Friday of school calls for new T-shirts! The adventure awaits!!!

I love love that my church prays blessings over our kids and teachers, such a precious site!!

Meet the EAGLES with my little eagle football player. GO #20!!!

Enjoying the last bit of summer...

And sometimes brave momma's and their babies head far away and escape the mundane and take a chance on making memories and building friendships. Leaving our husbands, packing for the kids and ourselves, all while living on a budget isn't easy but it was SO much fun! Four mommas never knew how much they needed to escape until they were gone. It was a beautiful couple of days where lots of grace and sunscreen were applied, where mommas united and joined hands and allowed our kids to be kids and enjoy God's beautiful creation...the beach. I'm convinced after doing this now for two years the beach is rejuvenating, it brings mommas and babies together, it gives a space for confession, tears, and joy. It was such a blessing to get away with this crew and make some memories. Let me share some with you...
The car ride brought interesting massages...ear massage.

naps...do you buy this??

beach rides..

eating donuts in the closet..

walks to the pool...

golf cart rides to the beach..

porch swings...

jumping off of cliffs..

more snuggles and naps..I must add, Scarlett was sad and Emerson pulled her in and said Scarlett it's ok let's snuggle. Precious, precious moment.

sweet treats..

Beach trips allow me to see how others love my babies..a true blessing!

Beach Braids...

Too cool boys..

holding the dead baby shark...

After shower snuggles..

These mommas and babies are family now. They are precious to me and I love them fiercely.
Summer break brought many moments with friends. On this day we went bowling at the pyramid. The kids had a blast pretending to shoot the bear!
Thank goodness for friends who come to my rescue when I decide to crowbar myself in the face!

Trips to the grind with friends are delicious and so much fun!

Painting our stones from our sweet friends to put at our new house.

Movie dates with our buddies!

DISNEY BOUND

We surprised the kids with a scavenger hunt, where they discovered we were headed to DISNEY!!  HEADED TO DISNEY!!!  We are here!!! We've...
