Emerson woke up wondering why the dance couldn't be in the morning. I attempted to explain why it was at night but nothing convinced her, she was convinced morning was simply a better time.
From the moment we pulled in the garage she was ready to "get ready." We obsessed over her dress, curled her hair and curled it some more and then put on some lipstick and anxiously waited on her daddy. He came home and she melted. He knows her well, we aren't flower people, but we love candy and that is just what he brought her! Lucky to have a hubby who gives us what we like not what others think we need!
Walker began getting ready and he let Emerson pick out his tie. She opted for the singing Christmas tie, but decided the pink tie matched her dress a little more! HA! One they were both ready it was momma's turn for some pictures! It was freezing cold but we managed to get a couple keepers and I just loved watching them love one another as I took their pictures. You can look at each shot and see that with out a doubt these two love one another. I pray she finds a man, when she is much older (ha), that looks at her the way her daddy does.
