Fall Photos with Kristen Mcafee photography NEVER disappoints!

Every year it's fun to get our fall pics so we can create a Christmas card and see how much the kids have grown from the year before. I sure love having a bestie for a photographer, she definitely knows the way to my heart! 

 

Happy Halloween- Skyline's trick or trunk

We sure love seeing everyone's costumes and getting lots of yummy candy. This year was no exception! Happy Halloween from our social butterfly and unicorn! HA!

Walker and I dined with some of the teens the other day after worship! Such a sweet sweet group of kids! 

 

Fall break: Michigan here we come!

We hit our 19th state on fall break and the kids loved it because we finally got to get back on an airplane!! Go away COVID!! Michigan or BUST! 

I took a phone call in the airport and looked over to find Emerson meeting this sweet lady and her puppy. This happened several times throughout our trip! 

We arrived in Michigan very late and these two were just the best travelers ever!! 

The next day we spent some time at the Saginaw Children's zoo. 

We also found a yummy bakery and the kids and Walker enjoyed their picks! 

We enjoyed frankenmeuth, which was a cute little German town that housed one of the biggest Christmas stores I have ever seen. 

Monday we spent the day on Mackinaw island. What a dreamy place it was!! We rode the ferry to the island immediately got on a horse and carriage for a tour around the island, enjoyed some lunch and fudge and then rode bikes around the island. Whew what a fun and busy day! 

We found a cute antique store and stopped in to take a quick look...of course we found some things! HA! 

We enjoyed seeing all Michigan has to offer, especially all the lakes. It was a little rainy but oh so beautiful! 

We found a cute castle museum and spent a little time exploring what it had to offer. 

Of course we couldn't handle not getting a little sweaty so we found this jump place and stopped in for a couple of hours.

We also found a Halloween store...

Before flying home we went to the Detroit zoo. 

Headed home with our hearts full of family time and our tummy's full of fudge. 

Time to get planning for those next states!
