RECITAL outfit preview and date with the cousins

Emerson was so excited to show us her new recital wardrobe. She got a little silly, well a lot silly and we had some fun giggling with her!

LALA had a doctor's appointment so aunt Liz stepped in and drove the van with 4 kids in tow. We had so much fun being silly in the acar rider line and then playing when we got home. I love how close these kiddos are and enjoy precious moments spent with them.

5th grade field trip to Memphis for Aladdin and Civil Rights Museum

Davis 5th grade class headed to Memphis last Thursday to tour the Civil Rights Museum and go watch the Broadway show Aladdin. We started at the museum...
then headed to Beal street to eat.

Next up we headed to the show. WOW! It was an AMAZING show and I was so glad I got to join my boy on this exciting day!

I love how our school includes parents on such fun days. It sure is a day full of memories! I love my sweet boy and cherish the moments we get to share.

Soccer Saturday and celebrating Jackson's birthday!

Soccer season has officially begun and today marked Davis' first couple of games. The dedicated sister, cheerleader came ready to see and join in on all the FUN!
Hugs from his biggest FAN!

Talks with dad/coach/encourager to get through his first two games!

My boy has taken on this new sport like a champ, and we can not wait to see how he grows and changes this season.

After the games, we headed to Skyzone to celebrate Jackson. Our families are BIG buddies so Emerson got to stay and play with Tenley while the boys jumped.

Somehow it was easier to get more pictures of the girls then the boys. Truth is if it wasn't for these boys meeting several years ago on the ballfield these sweet sisters might not have ever met. Glad our God gives us exactly what we need, and even more!!

I love weekends with my family and this weekend was no exception! We love you Jackson, happy 11th birthday!

Book character parade walk

JC held their book parade walk Monday and I was so excited I got to go and check out all the book characters. The kids were so proud of their costumes and enjoyed sharing their favorite books. Thank goodness for friends who helped me capture their photos, moving people are difficult to photograph! Emerson was elsa and Davis was a character from Harry Potter, his new favorite book series!

Emerson and her friend Jazilyn after the parade, getting into something getting comfortable!!!
