August in pictures and a few words!

Davis signed up for football and Walker got asked to be a coach so for the next several months we will eat, sleep and breath football!!! 

Emerson and her buddies signed up for dance again so here we go to another year of ballet, tap, and acrobats! 

School lunches are so much fun with our friends!! 

Skyline blessed each school-age child and their backpack to kick off this school year!

Emerson was excited to bring home a couple of goodies from selling items last year! 

 Emmy loves first grade and was proud of her first green card from her teacher!

We celebrate Walkers birthday with some jumping at skyzone!! I love my hubby enjoys doing fun things with the kids for his special day!

Emerson got this scooter for Christmas and loves riding with her brother, she has recently started driving herself too! 

More school lunches!!! My kids love lunches spent together!!! 

Despite TN disappointing loss we still wear our ORANGE! GBO!

We celebrated Emerson's teacher Miss Callie and her birthday with icecream!! 

I had to see a few pts one day during practice so Emmy ended up at football with the boys...HA! 

Church friends and buddies make worship so much FUN! 

We celebrate the Monday off with some family fun at the zoo, bowling and eating icecream! 

So thankful for these family memories! Can't wait to make more!

First day of school.

Holding on with both hands this morning. Davis was up and ready with his bed made by 6:30, so much like his daddy!!! He was so very excited to see what this year would be like and I must admit he was eager to get to school! My timehop sent me back to him at 2, I wanted to be sad for time going by so quick but I chose to be thankful for the time we have spent together and all the memories we have made. He is truly one of a kind! 

Emerson had to be woken up but was a delight to talk with as she got dressed and ate breakfast. She imagined all the things she might do today and couldn't wait to see old friends and make new ones.

Seeing this 6 year old walk in made me so proud, she was so excited and ready to start the day. 

We met her teacher in the hall and she took Emmy's hand and headed to get the rest of the class. I teared up a bit watching her leave and hold another person's hand so easy, but I was comforted in knowing she would be well taken care of this year! 

This stud didn't need a hand or a person to walk him in, but that smile it took me over the edge! Sweet little man, I love you so much!

 She told me she chased her boyfriend around the entire recess time and he told her to not do it tomorrow but then do it again on Friday! HA! She's very fond of him so we shall see if she gives him a break!

Thank you for giving my babies such a sweet and fun day. Bless them this school year to not only grow in wisdom but in YOU! May they be the light in such a dark world. may they see good and bad and choose good and may they know they are always ENOUGH and children of a KING, may they ALWAYS feel loved even when they mess up and may they give the glory to YOU! AMEN!

The rest of our SUMMER!

We ended summer strong! We celebrate Mack and his birthday! 5 years old! 

Emerson's class of 2030 had their swimming party and we got to see tons of her friends. 

We had a park day and tried to hit as many parks as possible, but due to the heat 2 was the most fun we could handle!! 

This kid is so amazing! Living his best life in his tree house! 

And...new haircuts don't happen often around here, but after a year we got the annual back to school haircut! Momma sure misses the curls but he would be adorable bald! 

It has been such an amazing summer. So blessed to be able to spend it with my sweet babies. I love making memories with them and pray they will always enjoy and remember hte fun we have!
