Punta Cana..Happy 12 years!!!!

Walker and I were so thrilled to escape to Punta Cana for about a week in May. We rarely leave our kiddos, but we decided after a tough emotional year we needed a get a way without any babies, SO off we went. They were in our parents hands and we were confident they would be just fine while we were gone. 

We stayed at a beautiful resort that was all inclusive and an adult only, so we never had to see little ones to make us miss ours!! The food was amazing, view outstanding, the company was my favorite and we even met some really great people.

 One of our friends we met just so happen to be a photographer and we got some really great photos courtesy of her amazing talent!! I was completely unplugged and never even turned my phone on during the trip so I was super glad to have gotten these!!

We even got to sail thanks to our friend Bruce!!!! 

WE had an amazing time. We came back recharged and ready to tackle Tennessee life! Our kids sure missed us and we missed them but it was so good to get away and have uninterrupted conversations, food that didn't have to be shared or cut up, and between the two of us we read about 6 books!!! A vacation to remember!!!

We are TOUGH Mudders

Saturday we completed the tough mudder in Sparta, Ky. The five of us did not know each other that well, but I would say after our 36 hours together it is safe to say we are all friends and tough mudder legionarres!! 

We drove 6 hours to get to our race and oh the memories we made!!!

SURPRISE!!!

When Jarrett and Stephanie told me about a month ago they wanted to surprise everyone with a mini visit I was so excited!! I kept it to myself and this is how it all played out Sunday....

It may have been a short visit but we will cherish the memories for a lifetime! You two bring sunshine all the way from California! We love you both!!!

Summer FUN and camps

Summer is in full force at our house and with that comes lots of FUN! Davis started the summer with one less tooth!!! This is number 6!!! My baby ya'll!! He is growing up....time be still! 

Little miss started the summer with a fever virus. We were stuck in the house so long Davis started to make up chores just to keep himself busy!! HA! She was completely normal just had a high fever..see, here she is just getting some more corn at dinner!

We did tons of crafts, read lots of books and snuggle time....Here is our painting craft. 

IT's camp week at the Wellington's, and Emerson cannot be more excited about being a ballerina this week. She's pretty pumped her best buddies are there too! 

Davis has drama camp where he will perform Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as an umpa lumpa!!! Yesterday was wear your tie dye shirt and he won! He was pretty proud of himself!! I am so glad he signed up for a camp where he knew no one and he has loved every minute of it! 

We sure love to swim and we have gotten lots of pool time with our buddies. The kids are swimming like little fish and I love watching their braveness come out in the water. Such fun pool memories!
